“We believe in nutritional products that actually deliver what they promise. Labels that tell the whole truth. Only products based on clinical science.”

Why another supplement company?

Remember the scandals in the nutritional supplements space around 2014 and 2015? At the time, I was taking more than 20 different supplements daily. The realization that some, or maybe many of them were full of fillers or were not what was claimed on the label was infuriating, to say the least.

This confusion of what I might really be taking and the shock of the outright fraud rampant in the nutritional supplement space was a turning point for me. I started looking  seriously into what I was taking and the science behind each supplement. This entailed going straight to clinical trials of substances used in nutritional products, not just reading articles claiming to be based on the science. It also meant ignoring the mass marketing, celebrity doctors and other for-profit gurus hawking the latest fads and trusting ONLY THE SCIENCE.

My journey was an eye-opener. It led me to delve deeply into what is perhaps the most exciting frontier in nutritional science of the past decade: the body’s microbiome—i.e., your gut.

Seeing that so many processes of the body, from immunity, sleep, mood, weight control, cardiovascular  and blood sugar level health were directly or indirectly a result of processes in the digestive tract, this became my focus and passion underlying the founding of Doctors Pick.

Working with a senior doctor friend, and then a small team of scientists specializing in food and nutritional supplement probiotics, we created our first products, which are our popular probiotics.

Our company, which is also my “extended” family, has made it our mission to ONLY bring out nutritional products solidly grounded in clinical trial backed science. To this end, we publish all the links to this clinical research right here on our website. In addition, we wanted to only make nutritional products that we would use for ourselves and family by ensuring that the products actually contain what our labels claim, and absolutely nothing else.

Today, my team at Doctors Pick brings you the best that modern science can offer in probiotics and digestive health. As we expand our offerings, we will always do so with our mission in mind to help you be your best you.

Glowing bulb in hand for bright ideas concept.

TESTING AT EVERY STEP

Along with this, every product and production run we do is tested at five stages during production and then 3rd party tested after completion. In addition, we send out samples of each final product to have a second Heavy Metals and Toxins test to be extra sure of 100% purity and safety. Test results are posted here on our website on each specific product page.
